The International Baccalaureate Program is a global program that provides holistic education while following a detailed curriculum. The program is designed to develop inquiring, confident, and caring students. Venice Indians International Baccalaureate (IB) Boosters supports the hardworking IB students, IB teachers, and IB staff at Venice High School.
Our Story
Venice Indians International Baccalaureate (IB) Boosters, Inc (a non-profit organization) was created in the fall of 2016 by parent volunteers. Venice Indians IB Boosters serves to support and build community among Venice High School’s International Baccalaureate students. The Venice Indians IB Boosters were successful in celebrating the first IB graduates of VHS in the spring of 2017. Venice Indians IB Boosters continues to evolve and with the support of students, parents, teachers, and staff we expect to celebrate all future Venice High School International Baccalaureate graduates. In the fall of 2022, Venice Indians IB Boosters began a partnership with the Student-led IB Boosters at Venice High School. This collaboration allows enhanced teamwork among IB students, teachers, and parents and allows for more comprehensive and prosperous IB events and celebrations at Venice High School.
Our Students
The International Baccalaureate Program at Venice High School begins with registration of pre-ib classes in 9th and 10th grades. Students then enter the IB Program their Junior year and continue with IB coursework through graduation. IB students receive the highest level of learning available at Venice High School and leave a positive influence on the community by the time they graduate. The International Baccalaureate Program develops lifelong learners who thrive and make a difference.
